Finding The Right Messaging Takes Time

Experiences are truly what form our values and goals, and oftentimes you don’t know who you are until you know who you are not.

Nobody starts from zero, and there’s a fine balance between sticking to the plan and pivoting to find proper alignment when new information comes in.

I started dancing in 1994 and stuck with it for 2.5 decades. When I opened a dance studio, it wasn’t a whole lot of forethought to why I was doing what I was doing, and how I wanted to help people.

Starting something from scratch is a different kind of special.

You get to explore everything!!!

From the simple things such as what industry you’ll get into, to the hard things like what is your guiding light when shit hits the fan. Or, why would people want to join my “army” and get on mission with this cause?

What problem am I REALLY solving?

Sometimes you don’t truly know the answers until you’ve had some failures. Discovering what gets you up in the morning and fires your fury is a huge part of this journey!

Derek always told me “Don’t grip the stick too tight”. By listening to this, we’ve morphed into something that I feel deeply passion and feel rock solid about.

Getting to this point, it is so clear what we need to do next, how to communicate, and what products to make. It’s our guiding light.
